This is an excellent atlas of the human brain. But the newest edition is smaller than the earlier editions, and is no longer spiral-bound. Prior editions are easier to use, because they will open out flat. The figures with structures labeled now have thinner lines that are harder to follow for labeling, and some figures have less contrast. The color in the gross specimens is also faded, compared to prior editions. I’m disappointed in the quality of this edition.
The best brain book and written by doctors from U of A! Surpasses my brain books n nursing school.
Delivered well-packaged and in good condition. I use this for my Neuroanatomy unit and it’s very thorough, sufficiently detailed for what I’ll need probably for the entirety of my neuroscience course.
