Blood pressure and its measurement has been provided in third chapter. Fourth chapter presents the physiology of the normal jugular venous pulse contours and the pathophysiology of their alterations. Pulsations of the precordium has been discussed in fifth chapter. Heart sounds and heart murmurs are broadly described in sixth, seventh and eighth chapter. Ninth chapter presents methodical way of auscultation and the tenth chapter describes the pathophysiologic basis of symptoms and signs in cardiac disease. Eleventh chapter aims to promote the recognition of the local and systemic manifestations of cardiovascular disease.
