Drag Brogna said Unintentionally. I came into this treasure of a book. I use Pocket Medicine regularly, and I find that this book is also quite useful for inpatient management. This is not a standard medical textbook for learning about the disease. This book covers the most common 28 instances in our inpatient practice daily (almost 70-80 percent of the patient population). As a resident and practicing hospitalists/internists, we must make numerous routine and critical decisions every day. This book asks the right questions and covers all necessary information for a single patient. The free E-book option through VitalSource Bookshelf is also appealing.
