Newer concepts have emerged in the treatment of acne such as, light and laser therapy that work by decreasing inflammation. Finally, scars, if present, can be treated by various methods such as peels, laser and other surgical techniques. Acne and scars can be troublesome, so timely treatment and appropriate measures to deal with scars should be done according to the needs and desires of the patient.
