Really thankful to her for sharing her experience.
Aoa. I Passed Mrcem part 1 in Jan 2022
You need to do theory + mcqs from the website “mrcem success”
Take a 3 month subscription. That’s more than enough.
First do all theory notes of a specific unit
Then do the mcqs of that unit from the website.
I had taken screenshots of entire theory notes, converted them into pdf and printed them out in hard copy, since I can’t study from a computer screen.
The pdfs and mcqs are available in the telegram group but I prefer to take my own subscription since the notes gets updated from time to time.
For anatomy part keep netter’s atlas with you while you’re studying the anatomy theory notes.
I had studied and prepared 4 subjects out of the 6 exam subjects but I did them really well.
Anatomy+ physio+ pharma + micro = constitutes about 160/180 of the exam questions.
Don’t waste time on path and statistics. Since path is easy. And secondly no matter how hard you study stats the mcqs are difficult to interpret
So focus your prep on securing the highest marks on questions related to anatomy, physio, pharma and micro.
I prepared for 2 months. And gave it after my fcps part 1 exam while I was preparing for residency interviews side by side.
I scored 152/180. Highest marks in that exam diet amongst Pakistani candidates.
Though worldwide score topped at 169.
Hope it helps you.
If you have further questions would be happy to help.
